Pert Doctor Passes Critical Comments upon Late PregnancyA Perth doctors has caused stir among people by alleging women of being selfish for delaying pregnancy. According to Dr. Barry Walters, who works as physician at Perth's King Edward Memorial Hospital, women conceiving in the age group of 30s are more likely to receive complications at the time delivery.

It has been reported that women after crossing 30 tend to attract various health complication which includes high blood pressure and diabetes. These women tend to put the health of their unborn child at risk.

It is not just the health of kids which is affected by late pregnancy. Responsibility of elder parents is also one of the main reasons why Dr. Barry Walters has criticized women getting pregnant at the age of thirty. According to him, a woman should conceive before reaching thirty so that a healthy baby could be given a chance to enjoy life.

There is no doubt that the baby born by a mother of 30 will have greater responsibility of parents and household. However, while sidelining the comments of the doctor, the hospital authorities said that Dr. Barry Walters' comments are based on his own perception, and the hospital's services will not be affected by his comments.
